Rather repost the article on social media as an “ICYMI” or add “ICYMI” to the title of the existing article (avoid altering the URL because it will lead to broken links and 404 errors). Additionally, follow up your article with another one that provides new information or another angle, with a new SEO title/headline, excerpt/meta description, featured image and new related links.

Then add “UPDATED VERSION”’ between the title and the first/intro paragraph. Every article must be different. Duplicating articles is fraudulent and distorts the number of articles published, and Google will eventually punish us by lowering our ranking
   Google isn’t sure which article is the “original”. So all three pages will struggle to rank. Google wants “distinct” articles. A litany of duplicate content can lead to a lower ranking on Google or in extreme cases, the complete deindexing of a website.
